Opponent changes overhead
The cue occurs through the simulator’s game-tick system, not through an unrelated visual timer.
See cue · Choose style · Attack
Wait for the opponent’s overhead prayer to change, recognise the opening and execute the opposite combat style. Measure both how quickly you begin and how efficiently you finish the switch.
Launch the 3D Simulator and choose Reaction from the main menu.

The measured sequence
The result separates noticing the cue from completing the clicks, making it easier to see whether you reacted late or switched slowly.
The cue occurs through the simulator’s game-tick system, not through an unrelated visual timer.
The time from the opponent’s cue to your first switch click measures recognition and response.
The final target click closes the sequence and reveals the total reaction and switch duration.
Bolt and Barrage
When the opponent protects from Magic, react with Ranged gear and Rigour. When the opponent protects from Missiles, switch into the required robes, select Barrage and finish on the target.
Death-dot variants replace the overhead change with the opponent stepping out from underneath the local player, letting target visibility become part of the reaction.
Build the ingredients
